The inspiration behind the fairy dust:
Madirues, the name inspired by my niece Madison. The day she was born I held her for the first time in my arms, I said to myself “She is a delicate flower that will need watering so that she can grow.” It so happened that my passion for flowers and how much I love nature came together. I combined my niece's name with a flower and the idea was born “MadiRues.” I truly love skincare, skin is the first thing that people see, and I wanted to bring something to you that I love and works. So I combined flowers with special natural ingredients formulated with goat’s milk, oils, and exfoliant(s) that are safe for the body and face, giving you radiant/soft even skin.

Soap Facts
All soaps contain an exfoliant called Lactic acid. I hand cut and aim for perfect slices per bar. They are approximately 3” x 1.5” x 3” wrapped with a tissue paper and boxed. These are handmade items and as I try my hardest to duplicate batches - it is not always possible, so please allow for slight variations.
Side note I do recommend using your regular skin care products because this is a soap replacement. Use morning and night, use a wash rag or exfoliating gloves, wear SUNSCREEN because of exfoliant. (Lactic acid- used to achieve smooth skin that is found naturally in milk.)

Soap Care
Like any bar of soap, all natural handmade bars prefer to dry out in-between uses. Please use a draining soap dish to help prolong the life of your bars.
Cancellations/Returns/Refunds
Due to the nature of soap, I do not accept refunds or returns. Soap is an intimate, sanitary product that I cannot resell once it leaves MadiRues. Cancellations will not be accepted after the order has been shipped. Refunds will not be given for change of mind. ( ALL SALES ARE FINAL ) Refunds will not be given for allergies or reactions. I state every ingredient clearly on the website, please be sure to read correctly and proceed as needed :)
Lactic Acid
What is lactic acid?
Lactic acid is a hydrating alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) commonly derived from milk, but there are alternative vegan sources, like fermented corn starch, beets, and other sugar-rich foods.
What does lactic acid do for the skin?
Lactic acid brightens, smooths, and evens skin, while also making it look firmer. It helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots.
How does it work exactly?
It exfoliates by loosening the bonds between dead skin cells to reveal a more radiant complexion.
